BSES Yamuna Power Limited had organised competition in various categories in Sant Nirankari Sr. Sec. School, Pahar Ganj on 16/02/2019. Their purpose of organizing the competition in the school was to interact with the students and to share some instructions with them on ‘SAVE ELECTRICITY’.
BSES Yamuna Power Limited team had shared some instructions on PROPER AND CORRECT USE OF ELECTRICITY that are as follows:-
- Use ‘Five Star’ rating appliances.
- Do not place high voltage consuming items in a single switch board.
- Use LED bulbs.
- Do not use Chinese String as it contains the material which is highly inflammable.
- Do not tamper with the meter.
The competition was organised in three categories i.e Drawing Competition,Quiz Competition and Nukkad Natak ( The Street Play). The names of winners were announced and gifts were presented to them. Winners were given t-shirts also.
A few teachers, who were a part of the event, were honoured with certificates and bouquet by the BSES. Our worthy Principal ( Smt.Seema Kochhar Ji) had extended warm welcome to BSES team. She thanked them for sharing their instructions on ‘SAVE ELECTRICITY’ with the students and to suggest them what is the correct and proper use of Electricity. Towards the end of the competition, all the students had been given refreshment by BSES Yamuna Power Limited.
