Sant Nirankari Sr. Sec. School, Pahar Ganj, New Delhi-110055, had organized The Independence Day Celebration on in the school premises. The function had been attended by the esteemed members of the Managing Committee i.e. the Chairman, Prof. (Dr.) G.S Popli, Manager Sh. P.P Bhuteja Ji, Sh. Sardari Lal Ji, and Sh. Ravi Andani Ji.
The alumni of our school i.e. Sh. Joginder Sukhija Ji (Senior Advocate in Delhi High Court), Sh. Pawan Jain Ji (Professor in the University of Delhi), Sh. Sushant Ji (working in the Income Tax Department), and Sh. Dalip Kumar (Working in Delhi Transport Corporation), were invited as the Chief Guests for the Independence Day Celebration in our school.
The event was started with the Salute by NCC Cadets. The Hon’ble Chief Guests and the esteemed members of the Managing Committee performed Flag Hoisting Ceremony. After that, National Anthem had been sung by all. The programme was hosted by the Principal, Smt. Seema Kochhar and presented the progress report of our school.
Some students performed a mash up of patriotic songs to express their feeling of patriotism. After that, our worthy Chairman Sir, Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Popli wished ‘Happy Independence Day’ to one and all present in the event. He delivered an inspirational speech regarding the meaning of freedom in our life. The Hon’ble chief guest, Sh. Joginder Sukhija Ji delivered a motivational and thought provoking speech in terms of the value of freedom, our responsibilities towards the nation and its people and enjoying freedom in true sense.
Towards the end of the celebration, the worthy Manager Sir, Sh. P.P Bhuteja Ji gave a vote of thanks to the members of the Managing Committee, the chief guest of the event.
