Paharganj, January 25, 2019: Republic Day was celebrated with pride and patriotism at Sant Nirankari Sr. Sec. School, Pahar Ganj on 25th January 2019 to mark the occasion of India’s 70th Republic Day.
Our worthy Chairman Professor (Dr.) G.S Popli, Manager Sh. P.P Bhuteja, Chief Guest, Rev. Radhey Shyam Ji(Member of Planning and Advisory Board, SNM) and Guest of Honour, Rev. S.L Garg (Add. Member Incharge HRD, SNM) Deputy Mayor Sh. Rajesh Lavariya, Deputy Director Zone 27 Sh. S.K Saraswat, the other members of the Management committee and respected alumni of our school Sh. Praveen Thakral Ji (Chartered Accountant) were welcomed with the NCC Cadets Salute. National Flag hoisting was done by the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor. It was followed by our National Anthem sung by the entire school and the respected Guests.
Principal of the school welcomed the Chief Guest, Special Invitees and the respected Members of the Management. She presented the Achievement Report (May 2016-2018) of the school.
Chairman Professor (Dr.) G.S Popli Ji addressed the students. He informed the importance of Freedom and encouraged them to be the useful and good citizen of the country.
Rev. Radhey Shyam congratulated on celebrating 70th Republic Day and shared his experience with the students and motivated them to their rights. Rev. S.L Garg congratulated the students on Republic Day. He shared some thought provoking incidents with the students and encouraged them to realize their responsibilities to lead the nation’s development.
The Ex. Deputy Directorate Sh. S.K Saraswat Ji shared views about the improvement of the school’s performance. The Deputy Mayor, Sh. Rajesh Lavariya encouraged the students to develop the patriotic feeling towards our nation.
The Alumni Sh. Praveen Thakral (Chartered Accountant) shared inspirational words and motivated them to develop their own will-power to achieve their dreams.
The Principal announced the students’ names for prize at academic and the sports level. Smt. Madhuri Sethi ,TGT (Maths) was felicitated with the Best Teacher Award of the Year 2018-19.
Vote of Thanks was delivered by Manager Sir, Sh. P.P Bhuteja Ji. He also congratulated the school on celebrating India’s 70th Republic Day.
